| Zhangjiajie College of Jishou University
Founded in 1958 with the approval of the State Council, Jishou
University is a provincial-level university. In the past 40
years and more, the university has trained a large number of
qualified talents for the local communicates, thus making a
prominent contribution to the economic construction and social
development of the century. In April 2001, Primer Zhu Rongji
made an inspection to the university and praised highly its
achievements in school-running. The university has 12 colleges
and departments, Zhangjiajie College is one of these. It
is a public-run and civilian-subsidize college, mainly offering

Zhangjiajie, the famous international tourist city, which links

and metropolises as Hong Kong, Macao, Changsha, Guangzhou,
Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing, etc. And there are also through
trains to Changsha, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou,
Chongqing and many other cities. The college is situated
beside a river at the foot of a mountain, where there are green
trees and beautiful surroundings. |
